Overview

MuteCue is a utility app that reminds you to restore sound after silencing your phone. MuteCue does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All app data stays on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

MuteCue never gathers:

  • Contact details (name, email, phone number)
  • Location or GPS information
  • Device identifiers
  • Usage analytics or error reports
  • Media access (microphone, camera)
  • Device data (contacts, calendar)

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

MuteCue stores a small number of preferences locally on your device (Android: DataStore · iOS: UserDefaults), including:

  • Reminder duration selection
  • Notification sound preference
  • Trigger mode setting
  • Auto-start on boot preference (Android)
  • Premium upgrade purchase status

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Data Security

Because no personal information is collected or transmitted, the risk of a data breach is eliminated. Local preferences are protected by your device's built-in security mechanisms.
